Congratulations! You’ve made it through the first week of Arnold’s Blueprint Trainer, and it’s time for a well-earned rest day. You could soak, stretch, or treat yourself to bodywork like Arnold often did. Whatever you do, listen to your body and give it some space to grow and repair.
“You don’t have to stay in bed or anything,” Arnold advised in “The Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding,” “but if you are running marathons or involved in Hawaiian canoe racing on Sunday, you are probably not going to have much energy when you go back into the gym and work out on Monday.”
